German nuclear-fusion startup spun off from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Munich. It has raised over €200m ($236m). Part of Munich's cluster of deep-tech firms, alongside quantum-computing startups such as Planqc (also a Max Planck spinoff) and firms specialising in nanotechnology, photonics and laser communications.
