American basketball player, a point guard for Indiana Fever in the WNBA. She finished college in Iowa and scored 122 three-pointers in her debut professional season in 2024. She earned $11m in sponsorship deals that year. She has been credited with greatly accelerating interest in the WNBA, turning what had been an incline on a graph into a near-vertical line. The 2024 college-championship game in which she played drew 24m viewers in its final minutes—more than any college game ever had on ESPN, America's biggest sports network.
