Teodoro Obiang is the president of Equatorial Guinea. He holds the record as the longest-serving leader in the world, barring monarchs, with more than 46 years in power. He has appointed as vice-president his son, Teodoro ("Teddy") Obiang junior, a money-launderer with a fondness for houses, yachts, luxury cars and Michael Jackson memorabilia (fedora, glove, "Thriller" jacket). American prosecutors charged the son with extortion and embezzlement; they seized his Malibu mansion and Ferrari and restricted his ability to enter America. The Trump administration later welcomed him back and struck a deal in which Equatorial Guinea accepted deportees from America who are not its own citizens, in exchange for $7.5m.
